TITAN™ Fuel Tanks utilize common sense design features, which simplify installation. They reuse most of the stock components, including the existing sending unit. The tank itself is nearly indestructible, but light enough to be hefted by one or two people. While a vehicle hoist and transmission jack are ideal, hand tools will get the job done.
This 52 gallon tank can be mounted in vehicles with both one-piece and two-piece drive lines (with automatic transmissions) and can be mounted in model years 2006 through 2009.
Each tank will need one of two options ordered with the tank:
029901 - Used in trucks which DO have the factory skid plate beneath the transmission.
029903 - If the truck DOES NOT have the factory skid plate beneath the transmission , a front "S" support option will be required.
